What makes JointStart unique is the presence of herbs containing saponins. Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) - is a naturally occurring sulphur compound found in rainwater, food and the human body. It is not similar to sulfides, sulfites, or sulfa drugs, which many people are allergic to. Clinical studies have shown MSM to inhibit pain impulses along nerve fibers, and to reduce pain and inflammation caused by rheumatoid arthritis, bursitis and tendonitis.
NutriStart uses Opti-MSM because it is purified by distillation, rather than the cheaper process of crystallization. Purity achieved by crystallization is dependent upon the quality of local water and other materials used in the manufacturing process. Opti-MSM is guaranteed to be 99.9% pure.

Yucca - is rich in saponins and includes properties that decrease bacteria endotoxin absorption, which can improve cartilage synthesis. Glucosamine - stimulates the production of glycosaminoglycans - one of the key structural components of cartilage. As some people age they lose the ability to manufacture glucosamine which may be a major factor causing to osteo B-arthritis. Some Glucosamine will convert into Chrondroitin sulfate and hyaluronic acid, which help to lubricate the joints.
Grape Seed extract - this powerful anti-oxidant contains bioflavonoids known as Leucoanthocyanins and Proanthocyanidins, which can dramatically reduce inflammation throughout the body. These components are remarkable for their ability to enhance and maintain collagen matrix integrity. Grape seed extract is also helpful for circulatory disorders.
Alfalfa Juice Concentrate - Alfalfa has been shown to be beneficial in strengthening bone structure due to its’ high mineral content. It contains saponins, which help to clean out the joints, allowing room for new cartilage growth. Alkalizes and detoxifies the body, and reduces inflammation.

JOINTSTART Usage: JointStart will usually reduce pain within three to five days, when taken at the recommended dosage of three capsules twice daily. In some cases, it may take two weeks for a marked improvement to occur. Once sufficient pain-relief has occurred, the dosage can be reduced to three to four capsules per day. Please avoid JointStart if you have shellfish allergies.
