When you take a stimulant such as caffeine, sugar, or ephedrine, the immediate energy felt has been taken from elsewhere in the body, and must be paid back. The majority of ingredients in ENERGYSTART are classified as "adaptogens". An adaptogen is a substance that helps an organism deal with stress: physical, mental and emotional. It does this by supporting and rebuilding the organ systems involved in dealing with stress, most importantly the adrenal glands. Adrenal exhaustion in the long run can lead to health problems including an irregular heart rate, high or low blood pressure, digestive problems and hormonal imbalances.
Ashwagandha is an adaptogen that grows in India. It is commonly used to treat fatigue, general debility and has properties which make it useful in sexual support products. Useful for physical activity, it gives long-lasting energy with no “crash.”
Siberian Ginseng is an adaptogen, native to Siberia. It may be safely taken by both men and women, over long periods of time. An excellent adrenal re-builder, Siberian Ginseng has a long history of use for mental and physical exhaustion.
Schisandra, a traditional Chinese herb, works synergistically with Siberian Ginseng as an anti-stress adaptogen. Schisandra provides many benefits such as improved digestion, increased circulation and enhanced immune function. Also increases stamina and physical performance.
Royal Jelly contains every known nutrient - all vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes and essential fatty acids - providing its energy from compact synergistic nutrition. Royal Jelly is particularly high in Pantothenic acid (B-5), a well-known adrenal supporter.

ENERGYStart should be taken for 2 to 4 weeks, (two capsules twice daily). As is the case with most herbal formulas, ENERGYSTART is most effective when taken between meals with a liquid.
After completing 2 to 4 weeks of continual use, preferably in combination with reduced stress and stimulant intake, ENERGYSTART may be used occasionally, as needed when energy is low or stress is too high.
